People living with HIV & AIDs are supported by their local communities. And these local communities need to be sustained with funding and the right policies. The world can end AIDs as a public health threat, by working with communities that have been leading the way.
These illustrations were commissioned by the UNAIDs for the international conference on AIDs and STIs in Africa (also known as ICASA). That is why the demographic reflected in the illustrations is Africans. My illustrations are celebrating the value of organized communities that connect people with the services and information they truly need to live healthy lives.
