More information: Ghana must go is also a renowned phrase in Ghana and Nigeria. It dates back to history where Ghanaians were deported from Nigeria following a presidential executive order in 1983. The deportation was due to the fear that Ghanaians were taking over Nigerian jobs. Currently there is a mass emigration of Nigerians to seek greener pastures within and outside of Africa, due to the social, economic, and political hardships faced under the current leadership.
